The Mere Happiness

The night dawns on him,
He doesn’t mind, he doesn’t care.
Gazing at the hopeless black sky,
Looking for a twinkling hope to stare.
Could have chosen to go down the untrodden path,
Chose to create a chest for neglected sorrows and time to spare.
For all he understands is happiness is a mere infatuation of the human mind,
And understood that it was more than what he needed during times of despair.
